Tapestry Conference Overview

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. — Isaiah 43:19
Our annual TAPESTRY conferences have become an important ritual in the life of our Christian Educator community. Our mission is straightforward. We work to provide our members and the Episcopal Church with professional support, networking, resources, and leadership development. We seek to provide a forum for Christian Educators to explore issues of professionalism in ministry and networking with other leaders in Christian formation. Our location for this conference will be the DoubleTree Hotel in New Orleans' French Quarter in the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana.
Workshops
The TAPESTRY workshop model, branded by NAECED, is designed to promote the balance of professional development and spiritual enrichment. Workshops feature experienced professionals with a wide variety of expertise well-versed with the challenges and passion of Christian educators. They provide opportunities for spiritual growth, wellness and life balance, as well as professional growth, offering practical help for your daily life and ministry.
New this year, we are offering a pre-conference day on Wednesday, Feb 1, 9am-4pm with programming for those new to the ministry of lifelong Christian formation in mind. Everyone is welcome to attend (additional fee of $25).
NOERC Partnership NAECED is honored to be in association with The National Organization of Episcopal Resource Centers (NOERC) to produce this conference. NOERC members and those interested in resources for the ministry of Christian formation are invited to attend the NOERC annual meeting on Thursday, Feb 2, 9am-4 pm.
